Public Service Commission is one and only among toughest competitive exam to get various civil services and governmental jobs and to enhance their ranks for further upper posts.
The examination
mechanism of this competitive exams is firstly the written exams is taken and
the aspirants selected from written exams are further tested by several
experimental tests, series of interviews and other methods of selection is also
included according to the organizations nature.
Public Service Commission which is also
called as Public Service Commission (PSC) which takes the written exams for vacant post
fulfillment for civil service, Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police, Local
Levels, banks and Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Civil Aviation Authority
of Nepal, Nepal Oil Corporation, and nowadays it also takes the exams for
center for technical education and vocational training.
Having the central
office at Anamnagar, Kathmandu and public service commission has 7 offices at each state of
Nepal.

3) Public Service Commission Bagmati Pradesh
4) Public Service Commission Gandaki Pradesh
5) Public Service Commission Lumbini Pradesh

7) Public Service Commission Sudurpaschim Pradesh
By the way, talking
about its establishment, public service commission was established on 1951 June
15, it belongs to the one of the main constitutional body among total 13
constitutional bodies as mentioned on constitution of Nepal 2072 which was come
into act from 2072-06-03 BS. Constitution of Nepal 2072 has remarked the public
service commission as an independent constitutional body.
As per Part 23 of the
Constitution of Nepal (2072), the Public Service Commission consists of an acting Chairman and several
other members. These peoples are selected by the President of Nepal on the
recommendation of the constitutional council. The chairmen and other members
are appointed for the period of total 6 years.
On every year, Public
service commission makes report and submits that report of its work to the
president of Nepal. After that, this report is sent to legislative parliament
for further discussion.
Nowadays, the hype of public service has been
to its peak, its vacant positions are oversubscribed by huge margins, its main
reasons are increased interest of people towards government services, long term
fame, stability of future, and many other reasons. Unemployment might be the
another reasons for this type of hypes, it's because in countries like Nepal,
getting jobs on their respective fields is tough one on the present situation,
and it is common for the under developing countries like Nepal, so there are
too many people willing to enter on this public service.
On the other hand,
people can compete on public service commission exams after they pass grade 10
level, this is very younger time to enter onto civil service and to serve the
country, so people who are willing to serve for their country, then they can
enter on civil service on very younger age like from 17-18 years of their
teenage end.
Up to now, the
selection and examination process of public service commission has not been so
much controversial, besides one or two cases which can be counted on fingers.
So by giving public
service commission exams, and after successfully cracking this exam, you can
enter to civil services, you can get government jobs,.
